In this quarter, we treated over 1500 people. 88% of the eyes assessed, post-surgery, have visual acuity in the good (6/6 – 6/18) category, in keeping with the outcomes over the years.

Add more eye-friendly foods to your diet. Not just carrots! In addition to Vitamin A (found in carrots), anti-oxidants and Omega-3 fatty acids are also known to reduce the risk of cataracts, retina damage and macular degeneration. Make sure to ask your dietician or doctor for more information on the various foods you can consume for better eye health.

An eye cannot be transplanted (as yet). More than a million nerve fibers run between an eye and the brain. Technology hasn’t yet reached an advance state where these neural connections can be reconstructed for a transplant to succeed. (source: discoveryeye.org)
